MagLite 2AA LED Rebel Disassembly?

Has anybody done this and wouldn't mind sharing the procedure? The LED module on one of my lights is a little lower than the plastic ring, and when I set the light down on its tail, it flickers. Not sure if that has anything to do with this, but my other lights have LED modules that are flush with the black plastic.

Never mind...got the nerve to try it, and I used two screwdrivers and just pushed the LED module out the other end. Now for reassembling...

Thank you very much for the information on how to disassemble the AA led maglite. My mom's maglite got broken after falling off a table and I was able to fix it. I posted pictures in my blog post

Glad you fixed your light! Remember that the light has a lifetime warranty, so if it does break again, you can send it back to Maglite for repair.
