I just got my light in the mail and it looks great. To make a long story short, i put the 4xCR123 primaries and tightened the body to the head snug but the light would not come on when i rotate the switch.

Basically i have to turn the body 1/2 to full turn out (loose) before the light comes on. It is very annoying, because when it is not tight, by adjusting the ring it also moves the body which will take the flash light out of the short range that it stays on. If you back the body out to much it wont turn on and if you tighten it snug it wont come on either????? All inputs appreciated.

hmmm, that's an odd one...
have you contacted place of purchase, or eagletac support?

some things to check:
- I assume you are loading the CR123's into the supplied holders before inserting into carrier?
- check to make sure the battery carrier ends (4 screws on each end) are tight, and the carrier drops into the tail end nicely/square?
- make sure the 2 (+/-) contacts on the head are free floating/not bound up.
- check the 3 screws on the surround head plate are tight?
- Have you installed the included clicky switch kit and carrier - does the 2nd battery carrier make a difference?

PM or email me if you like
