Hello everyone. This's my first post here.
I just received my Q MiNi AA warm today.
I found that it has different tint from my other warm light.
I wonder which one is real Q35A?
Here's picture. White balance is manual setting at 5200K.
From left to right
Cree XR-E Pa WC - Cree XP-E Q35A3(Q MiNi) - Cree XP-E Q35A (KD Drop-in)

Thanks all.

:welcome:
I'd be trusting 4Sevens to have the correct description before trusting KD whose descriptions notoriously unreliable.

Where did you got a "Warm" Q MiNi AA from ? 4sevens only lists a neutral-white.
The 5A tint is usually refered to as "neutral", and looks exactly like the one on your beamshot.
And I really don't feel like the KD drop-in uses a Q3 5A emitter, too much yellow i'd say.

Keep in mind that the tint bin specs for the Quark are "tighter" than those of your KD dropin. In other words, "5A3" is a more specific bin than "5A", as 5A3 specifies a subcategory of 5A.

All of my "5A" tints appear to match more closely the center beamshot of your picture.

Thanks for more info

Now,I wonder what really is the LED bin of KD drop-in.
I bought in and changed to 1 mode driver and got runtime around 5.30 hrs to 50% from ultrafire 18650 protect 2400 mAh.(gray one)
I guess it feeds The LED around 350 - 400 mAh.
It brighter than Q MiNi on high (test by naked eyes on ceiling bounce)
And it make great outdoor vision.

I should take more beamshot in RAW and process in different WB so we can know what exactly tint by compare to Cree's chart.

New Beamshot
Took in RAW and convert into two pictures.
Left : Q MiMi AA Neutral Cree XP-E Q3 5A3 , Right : KD drop-in Cree XP-E Q3 5A

First : WB approx 3800K

Second WB approx 3000K

From Cree data sheet http://www.cree.com/Products/pdf/XLampXP_B&L.pdf

4seven is correct about description.
KD drop-in should be 6A.
I'm I correct?

The KD LED appears to be in the 5A tint bin. It is not unlike the tint of my warmest 5A in a Fenix TK20. As has been stated, the 5A bin is not 'tight' and does allow for a fair amount of variation within it. You might find that the warmer tint of the KD LED is actually preferrable in certain environments such as the great outdoors.

Thank you guys.
As you said, I prefer warmer tint of KD.
