Several years ago, I saw a flashlight in a Cold Steel catalog, that had an aluminum body very similar to a maglight, except the battery type was aa. I think the light used at least 6 aa batteries. It was certainly an odd looking flashlight, and the best way to describe it would be as a 6c maglight, only 1/2 as thin.
Has anyone ever heard of this unusual flashlight?
