Well , it was R2 at around 1.4A after some minor parts swaps ..
But after seeing a TK30 , I thought , hmmmmm , why not MC-E .
So I came home and swapped emitters and drivers to make this light MC-E .
Much nicer beam now , lights things up real nice . Still throws , but not as well as the R2 , but the beam with the R2 was way too narrow , it was the spill that lit everything up , now I have much more powerful spill and still good throw .
I need a dark night , low cloud last night , so way too much light pollution .
But it seemed to throw as well as before ?? hmmm .
I like it like this ...
