KL1 changed??

I traded an earlier model of the KL1 (non scalloped) bezel and ended up buying another one. This one has the scalloped bezel and also the beam seems to have changed. Much less side spill. Also seems less blue. Maybe it is just focused differently this time. Anyone else notice this. My E1e was just lonesome without a KL1 so I broke down and bought it another. Just like me to trade something off and buy another. Seems like I do this alot. On the other hand it sure keeps thing exciting. thanks for the forums. Doug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

well ... my new one has exactly the same beam as my old one, except that it is a GREENIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the scalloped bezel on my new KL1, but I was not as happy with the beam color/consistency (although it was very good), but my older KL1 is very white and also quite consistent, so I sold the new one and kept my original one.
