I was wondering which Minimag color/finish is least likely to show scratch marks/wear & tear?

Silver might show nicks less but might corrode if the paint is removed. It is clear coated raw aluminum if I remember correctly. It took a long time rattling around in my tool kit being tossed around the belly of planes for my green to show "character" and that is just a lot of small knicks.

Maglites are: anodized inside and out for improved corrosion resistance

it is anodized type 2, i think. Whatever it is, they come as cheap as they can be, so that might justify why they scratch so easily.
