Jeez that sounds good right about now. I like to eat homemade Egg Mcmuffins. Kind of a sandwich I guess.

Get rid of the mayonnasise and that sounds great I wish I had the stuff to make it right now. I guess I'll have to settle for pasta with tomato sauce, that's in my freezer... oh well... I need to go to the supermarket

That was me this morning - a toasted bagel with a trick I only just learned:
    • Scramble an egg in a small ceramic bowl with salt, pepper, one chopped green onion and a few mushrooms.
    • Microwave on 'high' for 60 seconds.
    • Presto, a 'scrambled' egg with no frying mess, and it's the perfect size for the toasted bagel. Makes for the fastest 'good' breakfast ever.

I'm guessing this will be the 'hottest' thread in the Cafe today.

It could be worse. Imagine making it with inorganic spinach, cucumbers, Baby portbello mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, and Alfalfa sprouts.

It's alright - I bet they've all tried it, so they have the right to.

I think we should all post our cholesterol levels along with what sandwich we eat.

Yes! ..... with the bubbled sections slightly burnt, and with real bread. That fake mixed like cake dough bread won't work.

Slice of bread on the bottom, spread on some Vegemite, slice of bread on top. Done.

For special occasions, replace bread with toast.

No problem, it's very good stuff!

I love the sound of the sourdough wheat.....mmm..mmmm. To bad tomatoes can't always taste like they do in the summer.

    How about some Bar-b-que?
Hamburger fried with ketchup served on buttered white bread.

(I just read "How to speak Minnesotan." and read it there.)

What kind of bologna? Here in central PA a fried bologna sandwich is made with sweet or regular lebanon bologna (Lebanon county PA) and usually includes a fried egg or two which was fried after the bologna to add flavor. Mmmm mmmmm.

But my favorite sandwich is still a nicely grilled ham and cheese. Type of bread, cheese, ham, and mustard changes with mood, but it's always grilled to a golden brown, and may include a nice slice of tomato. A kosher dill spear or two always finds their way onto the plate.
