This is not strictly a flashlight question but I am not sure where else to post it where the relevant people will see it....

I don't like the shoulder strap that comes with the TK40 so I want to use something else. For the rear attachment point I would like to use paracord through the lanyard hole in the rear cap and I want to braid the paracord so it is the same pattern as that used for the supplied front attachment point.

I have looked at a number of paracord braiding web sites and I cannot identify the stich used in the front cord.

Does anyone know what pattern it is and can they point me to a link showing how to make the same pattern for the rear. Note - I want a loop through the tail cap hole - then the braid pattern - then another loop to which I will attach whatever I decide to use for the strap.

The paracord will also be useful in a survival situation.

Regards,

David

It is a square braid lanyard. You can tell by the feel. Just do a web search there are many how-to sites.

How do you intend to fasten the lanyard to the tail cap?
