Hi all!

I had soem time the otehr day recovering from an hour long dentsi work so i did this...

I took a Xenon module and a LED one that had the exact output and measured light output with some colored filters I had...Initially I wanted to try the Anglehead ones, but then I opted to use soem photographic ones..

materials were:
Surefire 6P
2xAW123s
Dereelight 3SM-1 module
7.4 15 W Xenon Bulb
Kodak #25 Photographic Filter (Red)
Kodak #80A Photographic Filter (Blue)
Yellow Y2 Photographic Filter

Values were

that is interesting!
Cos there seem to be an edge on the LED....Even while the Red filter output that is Lower, it maybe a good thing after all since we usually choose red more for night vision/low observability purposes than signaling1

And also, here are the filters spectral transmittance data....(for those than can make some use of it

enjoy, kostas
