My FM35 red filter got all scratched up in my pocket. I need a replacement lens for it. Would I have to contact Surefire for this or is there any replacements I can buy to fix it myself?

Thanks in advance,
RC

Your SF Filter is polycarbonate right?

You may be able to buff a majority of it out with something like a CD Scratch repair kit, they contain a mild abrasive designed to buff out scratches :)

Otherwise you could cut down a filter from lighthound or dealextreme to fit it

quokked,

Thanks for the advice. I don't have the time to do modify a lens, I need more of a direct fit. The filter was only like $25 after a discount, so I was just wanting a direct lens replacement. I believe it is polycarbonate.

I need to start posting earlier, I believe my late-night posts are becoming lost...
