Has anyone bought Xtar lights before? Any comments about the quality and features of these lights in general? How would you rate them? Anyone happy or not happy with them and why?

I purchased an Xtar SSC-P7 C2 from lighthound for about $57. It is light, well made, and puts out more light than a M60, R5 or SST-50 running on the same battery. Be sure to use only AW length 18650s though.

I have 1 Xtar, old model with Luxeon but modded to XR-E now, a few friends have the newer ones because of my recommendation.
Compared to every other offer that are direct competitors (DX and such), the Xtar is lightyears better in machining and reliability.
Perfect low budget recommendation.
