I am doing a decorative light and it needs to be blue.

I'm trying to find a blue filter. any pointers on where to look at? I don'T want the flip-on type, just a simple blue disc that I can put in front of my reflector.

Something like this: http://tacm3.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=85
although I'd like to have the diameter and thickness beforehand to include in my design

Thanks again!

I believe a company called "bushwhacker" made filters in different sizes, as well as OEM'd at one point for Surefire.

Photographic filters could work. Some come in various size threaded filter rings, but you can also get rectangular ones (made to fit in a holder) that can be cut to whatever size you want. Once upon a time I read a comment that there was a company that would send out free samples of their rectangular filters.

If you are looking for a standard size that fits a P60/6P size bezel, Solarforce sells a set of Red, Green, Blue and Yellow filters for around $10-$12.

If you can't find them at a CPF-supporting dealer, there are a lot of them on eBay.

Good luck!
