I've been looking for flashlight holder that will allow me to aim a small LED (123 diameter most likely) and attach to a standard 5/8" photo/video light stand.

So far the options are rigging rather large and expensive Manfrotto or Matthews grip gear or rubberbands and duct tape....

What I would like to find is a reasonably priced gadget with clamps on opposite ends (one for the stand, one for the flashlight) and maybe a ball head or two swivels, with adjustable locks.

I'd like to mount and aim several small LED lights running up and down a lightstand.

Perhaps I should design one and find a plastics manufacturer? But maybe one already exists? Thanks!

Verndog is making a beautiful, purpose-built light holder. Read about it in THIS THREAD if you like. The beginning is about the prototype (I got lucky and was able to buy one of those 5) but he's going to produce them in quantity due to the response.
