You guys have already gotten me in trouble!

The Missus and I are GeoCachers (If you don't know what that is, go here.) We were out the other night and she had forgotten her flashlight.

"Well, here, honey," I said as I handled an old plastic 6v lantern that's held together with duct tape.

She touched it off and I could have sworn I saw a physical reaction. "Too bold!" was her comment.

I have to admit, after reading the simple upgrades here in the forums I put a 3D Mag bulb in the light and it has a surprisingly pencil thin beam with a nice, even spot.

Not good for trying to be descreet while looking for something at your feet!

CR, thanks for posting this because it lead me to the GeoCache site and introduced me to my new hobby! I just located my first cache this morning about 2mi from my home and I'm hooked.

Geocaching a great activity day or night, I like to go @ night because of the challenge. If you go to alpinewomen.com thay have lights and head lamps cheap! I just ordered a Predator Pro for 12$! Good luck on all your caches.
