After spending about an hour tearing apart the house looking for my edc Surefire E1B I had given up thinking that it would hopefully surface sooner or later. I had checked all over the floor, behind my desk, bed, furniture, you name it. Well fast forward to me taking a pair of jeans out of the dryer and I noticed a familiar shape in the pocket. :faint:

Yup, it was there. I took it out and gave it a quick once over. I opened it up and the inside of the body and bezel were bone dry with no signs of moisture. I took a deep breath pressed the switch and it worked in both high and low!

Now thats quality...

Surefire are excellent lights you can trust. I'll bet that E1B came out smelling fresher than ever!

Now put it in the dryer with some bounce sheets to soften out the beam.

I just had to tell the story, and I'm glad I did. The responses gave me quite a few chuckles.... :twothumbs

I learned that same SF quality lesson a few years ago when my beloved green L1 was washed AND dried! That made quite an impression.
