I can't find the old post about this light, but I bought one and as soon as I put 3AA's in it, the LEDs started to get dimmer and dimmer, then went out one at a time. I shipped it back to the seller at my expense, he sent me another one. This time, I did a quick current measurement on it after putting a couple of ohms in series with the LEDs. I forget the exact value that worked finally, but it's still a piece of poop. Not bright, and since I used only one resistor for all 6 LEDs, there is a considerable difference in brightness from led to led.
