Pop a cap in your mag

After finally getting a P7 into my mag, I'm thinking I need a glo-toob flash cap for the rear end so that I don't blind myself when I'm camping and need to do the odd close up work (like reading a map). Can't decide between red, amber or white. Any ideas which is best.

Red will hurt your night vision the least, white the most. Amber is somewhat in between and quite soothing, although it does funny things to your depth perception. Ditto, and more so for red. Forget recognizing colors under anything but white light. Between these that choice is up to you...
