Yes It is a twisty, super smooth, Ui is single stage off and blindingly bright, as you can see from the outdoor shot.

It is a green glow powder impregnated disk that sits around the emitter. When the light is turned on it charges the powder and it glows green after the light is turned off making it easy to locate in the dark. Unlike many who have done this to their lights this disk is removable if you don't want to have it in the light. takes all of 30 seconds to take it out.
