looking for a cheap reliable upgrade, from what i can work out solarforce are actually pretty good quality now and better than all the other 'cheap' makes ??
so are they reliable ?
how does their stated output differ from actual ?
i may also end up getting the dereelight or lumens factory models down the line but not just yet.

Hi there,
a newbie here, i bought the solar force l2, what a big surprise. it simply blew my magled 3d and my 6p incan. i was so awed by the light that i bought the r2 replacement bulb(module) for my smith and wesson delta force incandescent (busted) the drop in was easy. I also swapped it with my 6p and it was real easy and nice light...... i measured the output of the l2, the smith(delta force) using the drop in and they really topped the 200 lumen...

L2 210-250 lumens
Delta force (r2 drop in) 210-245 lumens (used cr123s
6p (incan original bulb) 48 -82 lumens (new cr123s)

Kyoritsu digital light meter model 5202 measured at 6 feet distance. the high and lows is a result of my shaky hands.
tomorrow i will measure the 3d magled.
