Lumapower ST-02 using 2x123 vs. 18650 - advice?

Thanks to a lot of information that I found here, I recently purchased a Lumapower Signature tactical series ST-02 light. I really do like the light. It is super bright and I like the way it feels in my hand. It is head and shoulders above the stinger that my dept. issues. :twothumbs

Anyhow as the title implies what would be the differences between running 2-123's vs. 1 18650? I understand that the 18650 is rechargeable which is always a plus if you have 2 batteries to swap out, but would there be any difference in light output between the two battery types?
