Ummm.... can you please downsize the pics so that there is no horizontal scroll? Thanks much... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Here\'s mine...

Star, most people use a 1024x768 resolution so putting up a pic that size causes the need for scrolling... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

A 640x480 pic is more than big enough... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Looks like this on the primary machine here:

Click to view - 1024x768 sized image.

...and has done for years. Like it kind of minimal (OK, I also like the quicklaunches) since the old beast is so slow it would take hours to warm up otherwise!

Here's mine, shrunk to 640x480 of course. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I used the "Print Screen/SysRq" button to grab it, then I emailed it to myself, saved the picture, used IrFanView to resize it, then uploaded it to one of my servers.
My copy of Photoshop is broken, that's why I went this roundabout way to get the picture.

Oh, the picture I used for my wallpaper is something I took last summer...it's of Elliot Bay near Pier 66, and I don't know what the tide was, so please don't ask. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have my (none) selected as my desktop. I need all the resources I can get from my computer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I had thought about this, so I tried running Fear Factor with the background on, then repeated it with the background off.
The performance increase is too small to accurately measure.
