hey guys, I havent messed around with
drop ins and am starting from scratch.
The drop in I want is a nailbender sst 50 or 90
and I think a single 26650 would be best.
just trying to find the right body and head and switch
I guess..
any links or suggestions would be VERY much appreciated!!
thanks!

Re: does a 26500 host take a p60 or d36? (newb?)

Thanks man,
I did fairly thorough search but was confused on the
different sizes of heads n drop ins etc.
leaning towards NB SST-90 D36 in a FM 1X25650 host
with a GITD McClicky...
wheeeew what a mouthful!
been looking for the perfect floody bike light for
a while and I think this might be it.

EDIT: The link above is for 26500's!!!! Sorry! I misread your original post!!!

Yep, for your biking a SST50 is plenty floody, I have a NB SST50 P60 dropin, I feel it will suit biking well. With more runtime too, I think.

Anywho, buy both, and good luck!!

Actually the link above has both 26650 and 26500 setups for a D26/P60 (SF 6p clone). If this is at all related to your other thread I would suggest FMs D36 1x26650 setup. I have this setup with a nailbender D36 Direct Drive 3-mode sst-50 and it is my favorite all-around custom light. Throw/Brightness, you name it and it has it. Don't be afraid to deal with Dave ('nailbender'), he is a fantastic guy to deal with and his products and service are top notch.
