Nitecore D18

I got to thinking today while messing with my Nitecore D10 about how great it would be to have a bigger brother to the D10. Now I know there is always the D20, but I am thinking about maintaining a single cell format. One that is proportioned identically to the D10, only slightly bigger! One that is designed around an 18650 cell. I have heard it mentioned here and there, but I have been unable to find anything more specific. What do you guys think? I know I sure would purchase one in a hurry! Just wanted to see if there are others out there that share my desire..............:thinking:

Besides, for some time now, I've been wishing for something more in the C size instead of having all these LONG flashlights that to me, look horrible.

That would not be bad either, would offer some pretty high capacity options and could be modeled after the current EX10!

Nice idea, but you might be in for a long wait. Ever since the EX10 came out there has been speculation as to when they would bring out a two-cell version - such an EX20 could easily also have 18650 compatibility.

Seems to me a no-brainer. They did a 2-cell AA version in the D20 - why no EX20 / D18 ?

Thats a great idea! 1 model that is Compatible with 2x16340 or 1X18650! I would have to paypal immediately lol. Id imagine that they would sell quite a few!

true, yet Nitecore just has to spent all their money on the buggy SR-3 when they could reaped alot more easily with something like a 18650 compatible EX10

maybe reinventing the wheel provides more satisfaction? haha

Maybe something with a larger head, like with the larger Lunasol 27? Even a single celled version of that would be nice, especially since the 27's are no longer available.

I want a turbo EX 10!! I know the titanium one is being made but it's too rich for my blood.
