Mini-Mag...waterproof?

Well, I might call it water-resistant, but Botach Tachtical claims, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif "Waterproof to 200 feet."

Has anyone else ever heard this claimed for a Mini-Mag?

Actually, 200 feet wouldn't surprise me at all, provided you didn't turn the head or tail while it was submerged. Is there a particular reason you question it?

No particular reason, I just don't believe it.

Mag's site doesn't claim it. I never see it listed as a scuba light, either.

if you changed the tailcap gasket to an O-ring it could probably go quite deep, but i wouldn't use it anyway. an arc AAA has a more robust water-seal IMO.
