AW Protected RCR123 (Black) 3.7V 750mAh (3 cycles)

Cell #1 : charged @ 450mah, end voltage 4.235v
Cell #2 : charged @ 450mah, end voltage 4.235v

Ambient temp = 74F

Max output
15 minutes = 114F @ head, 105F @ battery tube center
30 minutes = 120F @ head, 111F @ battery tube center
45 minutes = 123F @ head, 114F @ battery tube center
60 minutes = 123F @ head, 116F @ battery tube center
End : 1 hour 9 minutes = 123F @ head, 116F @ battery tube enter


End Voltage (no load)
Cell #1 : 3.14v
Cell #2 : 3.17v

Light-reviews.com recommended not to use the mini123 on high with a 3.7V rechargeable for longer than 1 minute because it could burn out the led. It apparently puts out 255 lumens initially also. So is it safe to use 3.7 volt rechargeables for long periods? And was the output flat line or diminishing?

This was for the full size 2x123, not the MiNi. :thumbsup:

To Dole, yes they recommend not to use the Mini w/ 3.7v source for long periods on max, but the 2xCR123 Quark has no issue, they recommend it.
