Im looking that the inova X1 can anyone tell me the runtime of this light. The websites all say 2 hours but I have seen some forums saying up to 40 hours :s

There have been 4 versions of this light, so not all versions have the same runtime. The current one is 25 lumens and regulated for 2 hours. That doesn't mean that the batteries are dead after 2 hours, but that's when it starts to dim. If it lasted 40 hours (and I'm not sure that the newest version will), it would be too dim to use for most tasks by then. I believe the third generation X1 had the longest runtime at a usable brightness but had flaws with weak tailcap threads and a glued in lens that sometimes fell out.

The third gen was brighter, but had the shortest runtime (2 hr).
The second gen was well liked for it's 7-8 runtime down to 50% of original brightness.

I believe the 4th gen had the new OP (orange peel) reflector, but I am not sure about it's runtime.
