I am currently designing a custom made torch for a college project. I have decided to go with 5 Seoul P7 wired in series mounted to a fined heatsink assembly. I am having a little difficulty in deciding upon the best driver to use as there seems to be quite a choice, the best one I found so far seems to be the Hipflex from TaskLed. I will require miniature reflectors to fit over the LEDs, any ideas on the best ones about? Is it best to stick to NiMH cells or use lithium for weight reduction purposes, or are lithium cells to dangerous? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thanks.
