arrrrggggghhhhhh, I can\'t find my favorite light.

My CPF benifit light has come up missing. The big disadvantage of small prized lights are they are easy to lose and ya get sick when ya cant find em....I just know it will turn up though.

Once you have given up looking for it for 24 hours, it will almost certainly turn up. Playing with your second favorite light will help things along by making it jealous.

Check under the cussions of couches and chairs too. Be sure you go all the way under and to the back (bottom) in case the light rolled that way. Check everywhere you've used the light, and everywhere you think you might have used the light. And don't forget to check pants pockets in the dirty clothes hamper. Check the bottoms of the washer and dryer if you did any wash since you last remember using the flashlight. You should also check under couches, desks, and chairs just in case it fell and rolled away.

Jon,

I can only imagine how upsetting that must be. After I lost my first light I bought some small Otter boxes and they solved the problem for my smaller lights. I can be absent-minded so I've compensated by being super organized. It really helps.

Chances are good that it will turn up unless you lost it in the woods, on a climb or camping. Even then you never know.

to find a lost object take a cup and place in upside down on a table.
when you find the lost object you MUST turn the cup back right side up,
or else this trick will never work for you again.
