Does the twistie for the LS fit the "grey kits"? I saw on the ARC website they are closing out the twisties for like $4.95. Would they work on a grey kit?

I'm pretty sure that all of the twisties work on all of the LSs.
The problem was in the choice of battery used.
Some batteries liked some styles of twisty and others liked others.
It was all in how the negative end of the battery made (or didn't make) contact.

I have a silver 123 twistie from a grey kit on my LSH-P. It needed a small wad of aluminum foil in the tail so the batt would make contact. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif - foil in a $125 light,, horrible huh? - /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Just got a second twistie with my 2AA pack today. Outer diameter is larger than the other twistie I have, probably matches the earlier Arc's (I now have one, but not handy). Same internal thread and works just fine, just looks a little odd with the slightly smaller diameter of the newer LS's.
