May everything work out the best way possible. Sorry for the heart-wrenching emotions you must have been (and are still) going through.

Well, they WERE gonna' give him a vintage Safari Lantern,

but, alas, the required 69-volt batteries are No Longer Available.

:poke:

;)

:p

PS: such a handsome young man

Thanks ....

He was testing our new LED Safari lite just last week ...

Only takes 6x Dcells ... much cheaper than the old 69v Twin Towers of Power ...

Doing very well for having new guts installed ...

His "mod" was a bit more severe than your typical incan to LED mod ! :D

Quick update ...

Momma picked up her mom at the airport Sunday afternoon ...
more support for Dylan !

He had a very good Sunday night ...
His blood gasses have all shaped up , his vitals are awesome ...
he keeps waking up , trying to pull hoses and wires so he keeps getting more sedation ...

He was solidly awake from midnight to 1 AM Monday morning ...
not sure how "with it" his brain was , but , it was nice to see his sparkling eyes ...

We weighed him last night and he weighed in at a strapping 39.75 lbs ... oink ! His early morning bath really torqued him off , which is the same as when he is at home ... same ol Dman , just with guts now !

His new bowels are working and he passed some stool during the night :)
He is peeing good , so kidneys and bladder and stuff are working good ...
He is doing marvelous , so , I had to go back to work ...
mom and grandma are in charge now !
Thank you all for Prayers and kind words of support ...
and mostly
Praise God for His lil Miracle ,our Dman !

Thanks All !!

Yup... docs say its a long road ahead but cant be much longer than the no-gut one he had the past 1+ year...

More juggling with meds and fluids today.

He woke up a few times though and each time he'd get more sleepy juice. Nite nite... Gotta keep the boy calm!!! A couple times he slammed his arm down like he does when he's angry. I'd be angry too!!!!

Nurses came to visit... they don't love the lil guy do they? ;)

Thank you all for the best wishes...

So far so good. 11 days post-transplant Dyl got the breathing tube out and is being "detoxed" from the heavy drugs. Going to be a rough 2-3 days...

We did get a smile out of him today when he saw my mom for the first time since last October.. :twothumbs
