Hi forum.

I am pretty new to torches and have found the idea of modding quite exciting, so my quest has commenced.

I've had some fantastic advice from the fantastic community on this forum, hunted through the enormous amount of valuable information here on the forum and started buying bits and pieces. Now I'm almost ready to start frying my own LEDS in the quest for the satisfaction felt when building/modding something, pressing the button, and actually getting it to work!

I've looked at and purchased a few drivers, LEDS, reflectors, switches, materials for making lanyards, ... at the following sites:

www.dealextreme.com
www.kaidomain.com
www.shiningbeam.com
www.lighthound.com

Then I got to wondering, what other sites do other members recommend and use for all their parts and accessories for flashlight DIY and modding projects?

britelumens.com
newegg.com
Radio Shack
Bulkwire.com
GlowInc.com
tek-tite.com
amilite.co.kr
flashlightking.com
flashlightlens.com

It is a lot of money. I have receipts to prove it.:paypal: :p

May add soon to that bearwobble.com

Hi tx101 and 420light.

Thanks for the info. Guess what I'll be doing for the next few hours :D :broke:

I looked at the first one in the list (cutters) and OMG I am in big trouble! Their office is situated about 5 minutes up the road from where I work.

Just what I needed. It's bad enough to have easy access to all these great sites, the heaps of great information and fantastic people on this forum, now I have somewhere within walking distance where I can actually browse :broke: :broke: :broke:
