Hi, all, first post here; I tried a search but came up with no results.

I recently got an ITP SA1, and it came with an extra tail switch. I read that it is shorter than the installed one, and will allow the user to stand the light on end.

I would like to change the switches out, but I saw no obvious way to remove the original switch; And I certainly don't want to break my new light.

Any tips/suggestions on how to change the switches out?

Thanks much

Adam ........ Welcome to CPF !

The 2 holes you see in the flat washer (outer ring) are for inserting the tips of small needle nose pliers or tweezers.
Then you un-screw it counter-clock wise to get access to the switch.

Change to the other switch and rubber switch boot cover.

( Don't jab yourself w/tools)

You got a GREAT light !

Selfbuilt (reviewer) just did a review of it in the Reviews Forum - go take a look.
I added some comments too.

You're gonna like that light for a Looooong time .

Thank you very much for both the welcome and the info. I figured those divots had something to do with it, but I didn't want to fiddle around with it until I knew for sure. I got everything changed out alright! :twothumbs

This light is a definite upgrade from my incandescent 2xAA mini mag I was using!

Thanks again,
Adam
