I prefer it either cliped in my pocket or in a holster on my belt.

Clipped in the right pants pocket is standard. Larger lights get a belt holster.

During the day, they're in my pockets.
During the night, if I'm walking around, they're in my hand, with a lanyard.

Clipped in my left pants pocket generally, while at school/work/etc.
Holster carry is my second choice. For lights without clips, longer lights, etc.
I'll often have some more lights in my backpack with me, but those can't be accessed as quickly so they are just along for fun.

It really depends is circumstance, but most of the time its in my pocket.:welcome:
I usually carry mine in my left pocket - nothing else in the pocket to possibly scratch the titanium. I do own some pants/jeans that have extra pockets on leg...when I am wearing those it goes in the right leg pocket.
Never could get into clipping to my belt, but I can see how this would be preferred for many!

On the pocket ofcourse and on hand.
After getting a light with a fantastic clip, I switched from pocket carry to having it clipped to the belt. When I wear 511 pants (which have fantastic huge slash rear pockets) I wear the light clipped to the top of the rear pocket, inside the pocket.
I carry my EDC clipped inside my pocket with an S clip from Nite Ize.Coat pockets are another place I often carry lights.Anything larger than a SF 6P would most likely be carried in hand.

Mostly in my pocket, unless its one that has a clip, but then again i guess its technically in my pocket.
