Everyone helped me decide on which Quark AA/2 to purchase, so which of the above, assuming a new twisty is released. I really like the twist UI of my Quark Mini AA.

What are your needs for this light? The LX2 is nearly 2 inches longer than the (current) Twisty. The UI is different too: on the, LX2 press the two-stage talicap for momentary and twist for constant on, while the Twisty is just twist clockwise to go from low to high.

Both are great lights. The Twisty is going to be a more versatile and efficent flashlight, whereas the LX2 will be brighter and simpler. Surefire, in general, is geared towards pumping out lumens. HDS Systems, on the other hand, places more value in efficiency. Further, the Clicky series (and I assume any future Twisty series) are programable and customizable: high CRI, guaranteed tint, narrow/wide beam, etc.

I'd opt for the Clicky/Twisty, but that's because they meet my needs better. I also think there is more bang for the buck with Henry's lights.
