Hi guys,

I want to get an 18650 light but I have few requirements.
1. has to be regulated for low voltage, such as 2.7-4.2v I will be using panasonic unprotected 2900mah cell.

2. I'd like 2-3 modes (ideally via ring or something), with one as bright as possible)

3. i'd like to stick with micro brands.
4. tail standing is a nice wish

thanks! :)

Based on your list, the MG L-Mini II sounds like an almost perfect fit.
It has all the features you are looking for. Modes are selected with a reverse clicky.

The next version is rumoured to have an XP-G emitter.

maybe this should be moved to the LED flashlights forum?

btw +1 on the MG L-mini II... Its great for using with unprotected cells. Light output will drop (if in medium or high), to let you know when its running low.
