I have a Wolf-Eyes Boxer 24W. I like the size, but am looking for something in that size, but LED.
I've seen the Super Storm, but need something closer to the 1800 lumens of the Boxer.
What are your suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

There are not a whole lot of options at that weight class so to speak.

The XTAR Howitzer claims 1600 lumens and uses triple MC-E emitters I believe to pull this off. It is a high throw light as you'd expect. It is 250 bucks. 6x18650s used.

The ultimate is the Olight SR90 which I think is 500 bucks(!). It has around 2000+ lumens with massive throw. It uses a 6x18650 'battery pack'.

A cheap version is the Trustfire TR1200 from DX. It claims 1000 lumens, but realistically is around 600-700ish. It is well received though, has a lot of throw, and is much brighter than 1x18650 P7s. Its under 50 bucks, and very cost effective if you don't REALLY need 2000 lumens. It uses 5 XP emitters and 2 or 3 18650s (extender tube included)

Or an Ultrafire WF-1300L (3*18650) for about 150$ on ebay.

That wiseled looks nice, but 780 bucks!?! Holy crap man. I guess if you are rich or have a legitimate and important use for that kind of power, go for it.

I am not so sure about that ultrafire. I think the Trustfire will throw better and it is 50 bucks. The ultrafire uses a SST-50, so the best case is going to be around 800 lumens, even at 3 amps. Probably a lot less.

The Trustfire uses 5 smaller emitters that are known for having good throw. As such, it can drive them within their range of efficiency for a better overall output. There are multiple reviews and beamshots of the Trustfire around.

In any case, neither Trustfire nor WF will hit close to 2000 lumens. I mentioned the trustfire because it is probably 800 real lumens and super cheap with great throw.
But if you really want high power, you will need to step up to the XTAR or Olight.
