Hi All

I have an Ultrafire 502B, and I want to replace the glass lens with a different (more focussed) one.

I can see there is a sort of ring to turn inside the head of the torch, but it is too stiff to turn.

Does anyone have advice for removing the glass?

Thanks!

Andrew

the only way to remove the glass is by turning that ring.
there should be 2 notches to help you.

I've had some heads that were loctited or glued on that were very difficult to turn. Lowes sells some rubberized strap wrenches under the kobalt brand name. Work like a charm and haven't marked a finish yet. HTH

Thanks for your suggestions.

By applying a lot of force with a screwdriver, I managed to get it undone - I'll oil the threads, sand them down a bit, and it should be easier next time.

Thanks again.
