At what mA is the SF L4 head driven?

I am wanting to put a 5W in my Arc Grey Kit.
I would like it to be about as bright as the SF L4 head. So I need to know how hard the L4 is driven.

I will be running the Grey Kit from either a 2, or 3x123 Mclux batt pack.
And, I would really like to have an hour of runtime from it.

Basically, I want it as bright as possible, and still have about an hour of light,, from 2x123's if I can.
Can someone give be some input?
On what converter board to use with a 5W, with the 2, and 3x123 batt packs, and still get an hour of runtime?

Thanks.

[EDIT] -- Also,, what is the runtime of the L4 on 2x123's?

Hmmm seems like that is a good source..

So, now i need to know the runtime of the L4, and I will be able to gauge how many mA i can use, and still get one hour runtime. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Surefire says 65 lumens for 65 min., followed by 25 min. of "moderate" output on a pair of 123's. I can't say one way or the other though as I've never run mine that long straight. As I'm sure you've heard, the little sucker gets HOT .

ok,, given this info...

What is the highest mA board I can use with 2x123's and get at least one hour runtime?
