Hi Everyone,

It's been ages since i last posted. I hope everyone is well :)

I'm looking for a new light. No more than 9cm (3 1/2") with a head diameter of about 22 mm, with a Cree R2 emitter. I need something with good throw (high lux) I would like it to run on 16340 and CR123a cells.

Thanks for any input that you can give me.

Jess

+1 on the Nitecore Extreme.
Other recommendations are:
Jetbeam RRT-0 (7mm too long)
Dereelight C2H

Since the OP is looking for throw (and a R2 emitter) I dont think the recommendations for the XP-G R5 Quark lights are what the OP is looking for.

The zebralight sc30 would seem to be a good suggestion with the XP-E R2 emitter.

A inexpensive option would be the single mode Romisen RC-A4 with XR-E Q5 emitter from shinningbeam.com. I have this light and also have the Quark mini 123 (with XP-G R5 emitter) and the Romisen is a much better thrower (I use a RCR123).

Guess reading through the whole post is important! :) Well, in that case how about the Ray D1?
