I'm searching for a companion to my RaClicky 170.

Not searching for:
1)Jetbeam
2)Liteflux
3)Arc6

What around here?

Thanks in advance

Novatac 120P or 85P
Liteflux LF3Xt

Andreas

Andreas, thanks but having already a RaClicky 170 a Novatac would be a downgrade.

Liteflux is excluded at point 2)

Ok. Lets widen the exclusion list:

Not searching for:
1)Jetbeam
2)Liteflux
3)Arc6
4)Novatac
5)XR-E based flashlights (awful beam)
6)47 flashlights (I prefer 1" diameter flashlights)
7)RaTwisty
8)RaClicky (I already own one)

Budget is not a major issue lets say until 300 bucks.

Maybe you could point out what you are looking for other than the 1 x 123 form factor.

You mean a downgrade in optics, runtime, price, brightness or what?

Put a Luxeon K2 emitter in, or let someone put it in for you.
Or a Cree XPG R4/R5.

Since I have my Novatac "200P" with XPG-R5 my RA's are shelf queens.

(only German, sorry. Scroll down to post 20 for beamshots)

Think about it. And the UI is perfect.

That would be a nice idea....yet where to find someone willing to put an XP-G R5 in it?
Not to mention a "decent" tint.

In other than 1x123 I could be interested in 4.2-8.4v range, medium spot with wide spill flashlights. Ths XP-G R5 or SSC-50. Not too much cool white.

You'll get help in the CPF Custom and modified section. Enough out there which can mod and solder.

Get a UCL-lens from flashlightlens, find a custom-bezel, put some trits in it and personalize your torch.

You'll have a uniqe charming piece. Not a light everyone else can buy simply.

It's not a 123 based light, but Sabrewolf's Chimera mini is so programmable you can have him put an ipod inside it....:faint:
