I have two M6 heads - one on a 2 X 26500 body and one on a 3 X 18650. I know that Fivemega has made adapters for the M6 to use a two pin bulb. Which bulb would I use with this adapter? - 1160 - 1185 - etc. There seems to be several choices of numbered bulbs.

Probably depends on the specific cells you'll be using.
Have you seen the tables in LuxLuthor's Destructive Incan Bulb Tests thread? He hasn't tested every bulb, but a lot (most?) of those commonly used are covered in there.

WA1185 for 3 protected 18650
FM09 for 3 IMR 18650
WA1111 or Philips 5761 for 2 protected 25530
WA1111 or Philips 5761 for 2 bleeded IMR 26500
