I thought it might be nice to capture our love of the light in verse. I've always found haiku to suit subjects of ineffable quality...like our amazing obsession. FYI, haiku are three lines of 5, 7 and 5 syllables. Rhyming is not necessary.

five watts of blazing light
the darkness retreats from sight
more batteries please

my mighty black shaft
a tiger at the front door
a viper in back

do you have a light
incandescent L-E-D
choice is my delight

walking through a cave
darkness enveloping me
time for a 10x

why do i like it
blinding myself at night, with
beamshot in my face

This is fun! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ok,

I'll toss in one or two more.

tiny Arc creates
mammoth Mag says we'll crush you
fight on, bright makes right

cool light on cool night
is it the moon or L4
either way, I smile

A face like the sun
But my tail switch will not click
Curse these dainty hands
