looking to Buy a P7 , anyone used one ?

Hey All

im looking for buy a Ledlenser P7 , mainly for attaching to a .22 rifle for spotlighting , most shots would be anywhere up to 100m, how would a P7 perform at this range do you know ?

a guy in a shop said the light could go out to 300 meters but ive heard effective light is closer to 1/2 that , anyone have any beam shots taken at range for this little light ?

The led lenser p7 will light the way to 100m easily. I've used mine at that range with a twenty two over it a number of times. Five or six dead foxes are proof of the pudding.

I must say the LLP7's head is a little easy to accidently move out of position so I have mine taped to the long range focus position.

oh, and I forgot to address this bit. No, you won't be able to shoot over it at 300 meters, its usable light just doesn't stretch that far. With a good scope I can see clearly with mine at 150, maybe stretch it out to 180.
