if i run a 100 lumen single mode malkoff dropin in a deerlight javelin on 3x AA thats 3.6v, will the dropin drain the AAs dry? is it essentially a battery vampire?

any danger running 3 x primary AA cells dry?

M60:
Yes the M60 is kind of a batvamp. Someone just the other day was saying his ran moon-mode for over 20 hours off 2xPrimaries.

Running cells dry:
Theres always the risk of one cell going into reversal when you deplete them that low. But with the other two cells severely depleted I dont think its as risky... but there still is an element of danger in draining cells that low.
