Looking at the Nitecore Smartring SR3 for $60 at 220 lumen strobe. Any other recommendations?
Strobe for about 50-60 bucks?

Is the strobe feature the main reason you want the light? Have a look at the Quark line also.

Fenix PD series have a nice strobe in your budget.

I'd go for a programmable Akoray (k-106/k-109/ak-16/ak-12) if you like strobes, you can set it to tactical strobe (2 flashes - pause - repeat) or a normal strobe at many many frequencies...
Also, is about $20, just remember you need a PROGRAMMABLE!!!!
