Is there anything else besides the Jetbeam RRTs, the Nitecore SR3 and the Surefire U2 that uses this type of selecting? I love being able to physically feel what level I'm on

Spartanian II, Legion II, Gladius (ring is on the tail; ring controls modes, but tail button press actually adjusts brightness), Kroma

The SureFire U2 doesn't have tactile feedback in the selector ring except for max and min settings when the ring hits its stops. So you can't "feel" what level you are on for the intermediate levels.

There are two upcoming additions to the Smart Ring series by NiteCore that both utilize XP-G R5:

Infilux IFD2 runs on 2xAA
Infilux IFE1 runs on 1x123

Yeah, I'm hoping for a real ring. I just want 3 modes, a low low, a medium and a blow your brains out
