A.
Withdrawn. The #3 light in the picture, Aspheric mag 1C.
I believe it's made by Leaden, as the spec & structure looks just like this:
https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/161748

Spec:

  • Titanium Gray Color
  • Cree P4 Direct Drive, Glow expoxy around the led.
  • Tint appears to be Neutral white
  • Aluminum Heat sink
  • Surplus shed 52mm Aspherical (No longer available)
  • Mag Cut down re-thread to 1C
  • Finned head
  • 18650 battery tube
  • Recessed spring to run 18650
  • Tail Cap step-bored to accept mag C spring for C-lion
  • 1 Meter Lux 52500 using Dx meter, actual lux ~ 1.2-1.4x more.
Runs on 1x 18650.

For reference, Current Custom Job for mag cut down can be seen here:
https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/239209

Any color: $60 domestic (1C is same as 1D)
Extra services:
- Body/head grooving: $35 each
- Tail Cap mod - $25

A shorty host with finned head & bored tail cap will cost $120, just the host alone.

The lights has some flaws:
1, Couple dings on tail Cap:

2, A chip on the lens that's been repaired by Optical Adhesive Norland 61,
but you can still see a curved line. It does not affect performance.

B.
Second Light, the Mag 1C clone, #4 in the picture.
It served as a control light for this XPG build & recently upgraded to 1.5A drive current with bigger heat sink, some info about it here, it's the smaller one.

Specs:

  • Mag 1C clone in Titanium silver color
  • DX 50mm Aspheric Lens
  • Custom Aluminum Heat sink
  • Cree R2 driven to 1.5Amp on 1x 25500 DX Li-ion
  • The tail cap is modified with 8x2 Ohm resistors in parallel to limit DD to 1.5A. Do not Run it without tail cap. Amp without tail cap is over than 2 Amp, will poof the led.
  • Unlike the Mag 1C, this light is not focusable.
  • The lens is held together bay a Rubber spacer, when screed the head in. be careful & don't let the lens fall out if you unscrew the bezel.
  • Actually much smaller than the Mag 1C, but throw further.
1 Meter Lux 62500 using Dx meter, actual lux may be ~ 1.2-1.4 times more as Dx meter gives lower readings.
There is no falws, never dropped etc. Asking only $55

C.

The One & Only, Franken MagDEFT I just finished here,
A marriage between Mag LED body & DEFT Head with 3" Aspherical Glass lens. Powered by EXtreme Top bin SSR-50, 57K Driven to slightly over spec
~5.5A using 2x 26650 IMR on Dual P7 driver in parallel.

http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/9038/img0611x.jpg

  • Greater than 1300 emitter lumens
  • Greater than 115,000 Lux at 1 meter
  • Greater than 2x 1 meter lux of the stunning ARC Mania X6
  • Out Performs the SR90 (SST-90 on 4" SMO) search light slightly in throw.
  • Similar throw as DEFT FTP but with 5x the hot spot area, thus more useful as a search light.
Asking only $245, I hope it's a fair price.

Hi,

Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but is a 25500 the only power option for the "B" flashlight? Also, any estimated runtime? Thank you.

Hello,

B has several battery options.
1. It can run 25500 as is.
2. With a plastic tube as battery sleeve, it can run 18500 or 17500.
3. You can convert it back to run on 3AAA (take the resisters out of the tail cap & replace it with a spring),
but it won't be as bright. (I can add a 3AAA carrier for free if you like this option).

As far as Run Time, 25500 is ~ 4000 mah, or 4Ah (= Runs for 1hr @ 4 Amp pull) The Amp Pull is 1.5Amp, so the run time will be about 3 hrs.
