Is there any kind of filter/shaper i can get for the KT2 that will focus the beam even more? and give extended range?

The beamshaper will not focus the beam even more, it will make the hotspot dissapear and thus make it smooth and soft. This way high powered lights can be better used for closeup work. The throw will be decreased.
The correct beamshaper for your KT2 is the FM24.

really? dont see the point in that, if you wanted more general purpose not super bright hotspot light why wouldnt you just throw the regulal head back on with a lower output bulb(P60,P90)?
