I saw them on sale, m9 is $39 after rebate, $59 for M11. Does this sound like a good deal? M11 is rated at 40000 candlepower, 163 lumens. The spec is comparable to Magcharger but I think M11 is shorter. I did some research on this group but it seems like not so many people use pelican products. How about M9 ? The size is very attractive to me, 7 1/4 long which is just about one inch or less longer than any 4AA. thanks!

I have an M11, and it's a good light. Has a VERY narrow beam so it has a really long throw.

Uses standard "C" size rechargeable cells, and I put NiMH cells in mine.

For $59.00 sounds like a deal.

I have an M7 I bought on impulse. It is a 2AA size rechargable with a VERY nice clickie at the tail.

It is noticeably brighter than the Peli Mighty 2AA I already owned with about the same size fairly tight beam thanks to an orange peel reflector assly.

I feel like Pelican Lights, once you get to AA or bigger batts, are darn nice lights for the bucks.

It'll out-throw just about everything, because of the tight beam. Peripheral lighting suffers, though.

Click on PICS in my sigline, then click on PelM11 for some pics. There's also a pic in the DUTYLIGHTS folder...
